Welcome to the SA Peacekeepers Sub-Branch

The purpose of the RSL SA Peacekeepers Sub-Branch is to provide a means to unite and support the diverse group of service personnel, including ADF, State and Commonwealth Police and attached personnel who have participated in the many and varied peacekeeping and humanitarian operations  throughout the world.

The Sub Branch was formed from a core of people who had returned from operations in the mid 1990s and were members of the RSL.  We conducted our first commemoration on UN Day in 1995.  The Sub Branch received its Charter in 2004.

We know that there are many Peacekeeping Veterans scattered throughout the Sub Branch network - please make yourself known to us so we can include you in Peacekeeping-specific activities.

We are a "Virtual Sub Branch" with no dedicated facilities, but we do frequent the Combined Services Mess in ANZAC House.  We hope to see you sometime soon.

Since 1947 ADF and police personnel have served in many operations around the globe.  While many were under the umbrella of a UN Mandate, many were not.  All are part of the Peacekeeping community.
